Mexican Silver Coins

It’s no news that the US dollar just isn’t what it used to be. And with the Federal Reserve mints working nonstop to compensate for poorly managed macroeconomic policies of the last several decades, every dollar in your pocket is destined to shrink in value.

Think that college fund you started at the bank when your kid was born will be enough to put him through school ten years from now? Think again. By the time he gets his acceptance letter, the cash you stored away might be enough to pay for a semester… If that.

But for every problem, there is a solution. And for every crisis, there is an opportunity.

Right now, one of the best ways to preserve and grow your wealth is by investing in precious metals. As a Gold World subscriber, you already know about the skyrocketing gains in the gold market. But a less known, and possibly more lucrative way to take advantage of the precious metals bull market lies with another familiar metal . . . Silver.

In just a minute, I’m going to tell you why Mexican silver coins are one of the cheapest ways that I’ve found to buy silver. But first, let explain why everyone is . . .

Investing in Silver

Right now, it’s really all about inflation.

As I just mentioned, the Federal Reserve is creating new money faster than ever in an effort to plug the holes in the failing US economy. And with each new dollar printed, the value of the greenback is diluted. That’s the government’s not-so-secret method for bleeding funds from citizens and businesses to pay for debt. As debts mount, they will inevitably do this more and more.

Precious metals with intrinsic value, like gold and silver, have a solid record for retaining and increasing in value during times of inflation.

It’s happened before . . .

Between 1971 and 1981, the money supply in America doubled and US dollar lost more than half its value after Nixon took the US currency off the gold standard. The disco-era devaluation of the dollar helped push gold prices to record highs. But the real winner was silver. In fact, silver prices increased as much as five times during the Nixon and Carter administrations.

Since that time, US macroeconomic policies have only gotten worse. America is spending more money and has more debt than ever before. In fact, the United States adds over $4 billion to its national debt every day!

But unlike paper money, the US government can’t just produce more precious metal at will. Supply is always behind demand, and today, with inflation taking a bite out of the dollar like never before, demand for precious metals has never been higher.

In fact, some analysts predict that silver could increase over 10 times from current levels, to $150 an ounce.

There are many different ways to invest in silver. But one of the cheapest ways that I’ve found is with . . .

Mexican Silver Coins

The Libertad gold and silver coins are the official bullion coin of Mexico. Minted of .999 fine silver, the Libertad is easily comparable to the American Silver Eagle, the Canadian Silver Maple Leaf, and the Chinese Silver Panda.

They are numerous, are freely available on the open market and can be readily purchased from suppliers at bulk rates.

Although commonly criticized for their slightly inferior mint quality and packaging, this cosmetic shortcoming is a significant benefit when considered alongside the lower premiums these coins command on the open market.

Thanks in large part to their ease of production, the Mexican Libertad silver coins generally carry a 10-15% lower premium over the American Silver Eagle. The premium charged on the Mexican Libertad can also be up to 50% cheaper than other silver coins, such as the Australian Silver Kookaburra.

Some investors may be initially turned off by the Mexican Libertad because it is legal tender, and most investors are quite bearish on the Mexican Peso. To those looking to invest in precious metal, however, this is all irrelevant.

At the end of the day, it’s the silver you’re after, not the coins. With the no-frills, low-premium, bulk-rate packaging that the Libertad offers, there is no cheaper, more efficient way to put this constantly diminishing precious metal into your hands today.

P.S. There’s an even faster way you could make a fortune in the silver market. And it’s all thanks to a rare silver investment that not one in 1,000 investors will ever think about. Yet THIS diamond in the rough’s reliably paid those in-the-know 852% every year for nine years — straight! I just put the finishing touches on the shocking report that spells it all out for you — absolutely free. Just click here.

P.P.S.  My colleague Steve Christ, who heads up the Wealth Daily e-letter, just got back from 4 days alone in a secluded West Virginia cabin, 4,500-feet high in the Appalachian Mountains. Fishing was clearly on the agenda, yet Steve had a much bigger catch in mind. His real mission: To pour through the 1,071-page American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. . . a.k.a. the Stimulus Plan. What he discovered during that long weekend in the woods was 3 stocks Steve thinks will receive massive contracts under the Obama Stimulus Plan. And he’s just put the finishing touches on his report. You can get it right now by clicking here.
